If you're anything like me, when you get an idea you run with it. Doesn't matter what time of day, you are fully invested in that idea and won't stop until you see it through. This usually results in me being "plugged in" to the job at all times, I always have my phone in my hand and when I don't it's because I'm on my computer. Now I'm not saying that having a work ethic is a bad thing, it's often the only reason entrepreneurs succeed.
What I'm saying that every once in awhile it's okay to unplug, take some "me time". I did this recently, I went out to dinner two nights in a row with friends and it was amazing! It was a like a mini vacation where I was able to relax my brain at night and not have to think about work. And the benefits weren't just two nights off, I've come back recharged with so many new ideas! I feel like a new man, a new entrepreneur.
So what I'm trying to say is that you shouldn't be all business all the time. Take some time for yourself, hangout with friends and family, develop new relationships. Trust me when I say that it will benefit you in the long run!
I know this was a short blog post but I've got some other things I need to do before the day is over. I hope you take the opportunity of this long holiday weekend to unplug and relax for a bit, you deserve it! Have a good one guys
