I'm guessing you all know what outsourcing is, it's that awful thing everyone on the news talks about and the reason jobs are leaving the United States. And that's kinda true, but as an entrepreneur we view outsourcing in a different light.
Outsourcing is a great way to get things done while simultaneously freeing yourself up for more important tasks or to just relax. A great example is using a warehouse and logistics company who will handle all your inventory as well as new orders and shipments. That's an amazing time saving service that allows you to have a completely self running business.
You can also outsource tasks like logo creation, product design and manufacturing, website creation, even customer support. Sites like Fiverr and Freelancer are set up for the sole purpose to let you have someone else do tasks you don't want to or can't do. There are even sites that allow you to hire a virtual assistant a half a world away that will do everything from set your schedule, call you a car, create a report, or design your website (yes you read that right).
Now outsourcing isn't for everyone and I suggest you look at the costs involved. For some small tasks it will make perfect sense to pay someone else to do it. However there are things that will be cheaper in cost and time to do yourself. For example my website. I use to have a one page responsive website for an old company of mine that I paid $9,000 for. Looking back this was absolutely ridiculous and wasn't even close to being worth it. I built No4Optics.com for free myself! It kinda kills me to think of all the other ways I could have spent that $9,000. So be smart with your outsourcing!
If you want to start a business or a side hustle, I seriously suggest you take a look at outsourcing some tasks or jobs. That will allow you to free up your time to focus on more important things or establish a business that runs on its own.
I hope you find this helpful!
